History
1996: VSV Ltd – the predecessor of VEMO 99 Ltd was founded.
1996 – 1999: The first production plant was constructed in the city of Knezha, North-West Bulgaria.
1999: VEMO 99 Ltd was founded as a core unit for development and marketing of innovative herbal extracts and plant and enzyme feed additives.
1999 – 2002: VEMO 99 Ltd was working on a project for development of innovative natural plant based feed additives – animal growth promoter, alternative to the AGP doses - VemoHerb® BP; and innovative performance enhancer for poultry parent herds and breeding boars - VemoHerb® T. At the same time a few innovative enzyme feed additives were developed and prepared to be launched on the market.
2002 – 2003: VEMO 99 Ltd finished the registration of its main product series of feed additives – VemoZyme® and VemoHerb®. A huge interest on the domestic market for these products emerged in the next years.
2002: A new business unit was created – development and production of biologically active dietary supplements, based on proprietary company produced herbal extracts. It gained good interest in the forthcoming years on the domestic and some international markets.
2002 – 2007: A big expansion of the herbal extracts sales has been realised on the international markets in Europe, Asia, Australia, US.
2005 – 2010: A construction of a new bigger facility for the raw materials production was created in the city of Knezha, North-West Bulgaria. Its capacity is about four times bigger than the initial one.
2007 – 2008: A new very perspective product of the VemoZyme® series was developed and launched on the market – VemoZyme® F (thermostable phytase enzyme). It gained huge popularity on domestic and international markets in the following years.
2007 – present: A big growth of the feed additives sales – VemoZyme® and VemoHerb® series, has been realised not only in Europe, but worldwide in the following regions – South America, Asia, Middle East, North Africa, etc. Numerous registrations were obtained in countries like Russia, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Iran, Thailand, Indonesia, Egypt, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Turkey, etc
2014 – present: VemoHerb® PT (Bulgarian Tribulus Terrestris dry extract) turned into even more demanded raw material for the premium herbal formulas manufacturers due to the high quality, potency and purity of the extract being far ahead of its Chinese and Indian alternatives.
2014 - 2016: New facility was built in the capital of Bulgaria. Its 2500 sq.m. serve as headquarter, administrative office, R&D and lab department, product development and manufacturing facility.
2015: New developments in the field of feed additives: VemoZyme® M and VemoZyme® P.
2016: New developments in the field of dietary supplementation: VemoHerb® Bulgarian Tribulus Drink, VemoHerb® Armageddon, VemoHerb® VeganPro.
2017: Іnnоvаtіvе рrоduсt frоm thе ѕеrіеѕ оf thе fееd аddіtіvеѕ wаѕ dеvеlореd аnd lаunсhеd оn thе mаrkеt – VеmоНеrb® Zуmе. Іt іѕ а unіquе соmbіnаtіоn оf рrорrіеtаrу blеndеd hеrbаl ехtrасtѕ аnd еnzуmеѕ. Also, a new and innovative product from the series of our dietary supplements was launched on the market - VеmоНеrb® Muscle Kick.
