VemoZyme® 50F/100F is additive for compound feed, which enhances the natural enzyme systems of the animals (amylase, protease, lipase), supplements with the missing enzymes – xylanase, hemicellulase, β-glucanase, phytase, α-galactosidase, mannanase, pectinase, etc., improves the feed digestabiltiy and assimilation, improves the utilization of phosphorus with the help of the phytase.

Enzymes are organic substances with high biological value and they are of a great importance for the normal performance of the basic metabolic processes in the living organism. In the digestive system of the animals, they help the dissociation of the main nutritive substances coming with the feed to constituents that easily pass through the small intestine wall and become assimilated by the animals.

The digestive processes in the animal's body perform and depend completely on the action of the endogenous hydrolysing enzymes.

Besides the basic nutritive substances, the feed also contains cellulose, hemicellulose, pectin substances, β-glucans, oligosaccharides and others, which can not be digested by poultry and piglets because of lack of respective enzymes.

Not only are the above mentioned substances (known as non-starch polysaccharides) not utilized, but also some of them form viscose mass in the alimentary tract, which prevents the enzymes digestion and complete utilization of the remaining nutritive substances.

The intestinal microbiota plays a crucial role in the animal nutrition, health, performance and production quality. The addition of VemoZyme® 50F/100F to the feed reduces the undigested substances and anti-nutritional factors, producing beneficial short chain oligosaccharides from NSP. These benefits have been shown to have potential prebiotic effects, supporting the gastrointestinal microbial ecology.

Feed materials

Significant achievement in the field of feed enzymes is the creation of stabilized polyenzyme products that are combination of several enzymes, making them more effective due to the synergic effect of the different enzymes' activities.

In compound feed for poultry and swine with higher concentration of wheat, which contains high amounts of arabinoxylans is recommended the addition of xylanase, for barley and oats - β-glucanase, for peas, soya and maize - a-galactosidase and β-mannanaze, for sunflower groats and wheat bran - cellulase.

About 60-85% of the total phosphorus in cereals, pulses and oilseed crops cannot be assimilated by non-ruminants, because it exists in the form of phosphorus phytate.

The phosphoric groups in phytic acid are electronegative, and have very strong chelating capacity with some cations, such as Ca2+, Mg2+, Zn2+, Cu2+, Mn2+, Fe2+, K+ etc., thus influencing the absorption and utilization of these minerals by livestock.

The phosphoric groups in phytic acid can also combine with cation groups on proteins, amino acids, starch and lipids in feed, and reduce their solubility, thus influencing the digestibility of these nutritional materials by livestock.

Phytic acid can also combine with enzymes in the animal body, such as amylase, pepsin, trypsin, acid phosphatase, etc., and reduce the activity of these enzymes, resulting in a reduced utilization rate of ration nutrients.

Phytate is an important anti-nutrition factor in the feed of monogastric species. It can reduce the utilization rate of feed phosphorus and other nutrients by animals.

The utilization of phosphorus from phytate becomes possible with the addition of phytase enzyme, because animals do not produce this enzyme themselves. The application of phytase is well known method for degrading phytate complexes and using of the phytate phosphorus from the plants.

Enzymes are attractive feed additives as they are non-toxic products. Their protein structure ensures easy digestibility from the body and lack of any residues in the meat, eggs and environment. By increasing the utilization of phosphorus and nutrients in the compound feeds, VemoZyme® 50F/100F  improves production performance and at the same time helps protect the environment.

The application of pure enzyme substances, the availability of contemporary technological equipment, specialized bio-chemical laboratory and very experienced professionals, gives us the opportunity to guarantee the production of high quality multi-enzyme feed additives with broad scope of action, conformable with the typical raw materials.

Biological Action

VemoZyme® 50F / 100F
feed enzymes added to the feed have the following advantages:
♦ Improves feed digestibility and increases assimilation of the basic nutritive substances - proteins, carbohydrates, fats, etc.
♦ Provides better variety of formulations for compound feed and at the same time allows inclusion of rich in fibres and non-starch polysaccharides (celluloses, hemicelluloses, xylans, arabans) cheaper feed - wheat, barley, maize, oats, triticale, wheat bran, sunflower groats and expeller, alfalfa flour, etc.
♦ Enhances energy value of the feed
♦ Improves the quality of the litter and the micro climate in the premises, contribute for keeping the eggs and plumage of poultry clean
♦ Compatible with all feed additives
♦ Sustains heat treatment during granulation

As a result of its action on the feed:
♦ The viscosity in the intestinal content is reduced, osmotic pressure in the alimentary tract and water content in the excrements are reduced
♦ Growth intensity is increased which reduces the ready production cost price
♦ Helps overcome problems connected with the transition to self-dependent feeding during the early breeding periods

The addition of phytase in the enzyme complex:
♦ Increases phosphorus phytate utilization rate of feed by 40%~60%
♦ Increases the utilization rate of calcium, zinc, copper, magnesium and other minerals
♦ Increases the utilization rate of proteins, amino acids, starch and lipids in the feed
♦ Decreases the addition of inorganic phosphorus with 6-8 kg per ton feed
♦ Decreases the phosphorus content in the animal's excrements and the pollution of the environment

♦ VemoZyme® 50F is applied at doses of 50 g per ton feed
♦ VemoZyme® 100F is applied at doses of 100 g per ton feed
