WHY PROTEASE?

Studies show that non-ruminants are able to digest only 80 to 90% of the total protein available from feed. The other 10-20% make their way to the colon, where the protein takes part in a process known as hindgut fermentation. Protein fermentation facilitates the development of pathogenic bacteria that cause inflammation and damage the small intestine lining. The infected animals rarely recover, and the ones that do lose a lot of body mass.

From Economical & Biological point of view:
Feed traders observe an ascending trend in protein feed prices on the world feed market. This new trade microclimate has caused farmers to look towards the protease enzyme family as a way to decrease feed costs by making protein in feed more digestible, which reduces feed consumption and keeps the animals healthier.

Providing a diet for monogastric animals, which is both balanced in terms of nutrient variability and also economical, is a challenge. Thus, the addition of a broad-spectrum protease provides for the perfect balance for healthy and profitable livestock.

WHY MANNANASE?

What is mannan?
Mannan is a hemicellulose widely spread in plant materials used in feed in high levels.

Anti-nutritional role of mannan in the animal’s organism
•    Increased chyme viscosity which plays negative role in the intestinal balance and the health status of the animals as a whole
•    Combines with the digestive enzymes or bile salts and thus impairs the digestive ability of the organisms
•    Can encapsulate nutrients like lipids, polysaccharides, proteins and thus make them more difficult for digestion
•    Affects negatively the insulin secretion which leads to worsening the carbohydrate metabolism and thus lowers the feed energy value

How can we fix this?
The MANNANASE enzyme neutralizes the anti-nutritional effects of mannan.

WHY NSP COMPLEX?

VemoZyme® MP provides better variety of formulations for compound feed. At the same time, it allows the inclusion of rich in fibers and non-starch polysaccharides (celluloses, hemicelluloses, xylans, arabans) cheaper feed materials – wheat, barley, maize, oats, triticale, wheat bran, sunflower groats and expeller, alfalfa flour.

WHY VEMOZYME MP?

•    Saves ~3-5% of the feeds metabolic energy
•    Improves gut health and animal performance
•    Shows a positive impact on the control of coccidosis in poultry
•    Allows the use of lower quality protein alternatives in the diet
•    Microgranulated, dust-free product
•    Additional α-amylase activity,e.g. improved starch digestion
•    Relieves the stress on the innate immune system caused by mannose sugars
•    Improves protein digestibility and availability in animal feed
•    Reduces the indigested substances and anti-nutritional factors
•    Enhances growth
•    Enhances the natural enzyme system of the animals and supplements missing enzymes
•    Limits pathogenic bacteria growth in the intestines
•    Increases assimilation of the basic nutritive substances
•    Wide pH range
•    Better weight gain and FCR
•    Saves on feed costs
•    Improves animal’s health
•    Less feed consumption
•    Balances the gut microflora and improves gut health
•    Improves animal immunity

APPLICATION

Proteolytic enzymes target specific bonds present in the protein molecule.

As a result of the proteinase activity the proein molecules are cut into smaller pieces known as polypeptides.

And ultimately the polypeptides are cut into their building blocks - amino acids.

Adding protease to high protein diets IMPROVES ANIMAL PERFORMANCE BY 20% on average. These results can be credited to higher digestibility and also to less protein fermentation, which in turn leads to HEALTHIER GUT AND BETTER NUTRIENT UPTAKE.

How could we know how much mannan is contained in the feed we eat?
The β-mannans’ level in animals’ diet can be calculated as we know the approximate quantity of Mannan in different feed ingredients. On our webpage: www.vemo-feedadditives.com/calculator/init.php  you can find the free calculator which will give you the % of the soluble mannans.

The application of VemoZyme® MP in feeds helps the digestion of mannas and thus increases the hydrolysis rate and the absorption of nutrients.

DOSAGE

VemoZyme® MP is applied at a dose of 100 g/t feed for layers, broilers and swine.
